Napapp Privacy Policy

Napapp (the "App") is operated by Vijo Marketing Corp., a Canadian federal corporation ("Vijo," "we," "us," or "our"). Napapp helps parents and caregivers track and understand their baby's sleep. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to this policy.

Napapp is intended for use by adults (18+) who are parents or caregivers. The app is not directed to children, and children do not use the app. Information about a baby is entered by the adult caregiver.

Information we collect
 

  • Account information: your email address and authentication credentials, used to create and secure your account.

  • Caregiver profile: your role (e.g., mother, father, caregiver) and the sleep goals you select during onboarding.

  • Baby information you provide: the baby's name (optional), date of birth or due date, gender (optional), and sleep-related preferences such as typical bedtime, wake time, nap counts, routines, and pacifier use.

  • Sleep logs: the sleep sessions you record (start time, end time, nap/night type, and optional notes).

  • Family sharing data: if you invite a caregiver or join a family, we store household membership so shared data is visible to members you choose.

  • Subscription data: if you purchase a subscription, our payments provider (RevenueCat, working with the Apple App Store or Google Play) processes the purchase and provides us your subscription status. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

  • Diagnostics (optional): if crash reporting is enabled, limited technical data (such as error reports and device/OS type) may be collected to help us fix bugs.

  • Usage analytics: we collect app-usage data (such as which screens and features you use, onboarding and logging events, and general device/OS type) through our analytics provider (Amplitude) to understand how the app is used and improve it. This data is tied to a random identifier, not to an advertising ID, and we do not use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.

  • Session replays: we use Amplitude Session Replay to capture anonymized playbacks of how the app's screens are used (taps and navigation), so we can find and fix confusing flows. These replays are masked: text you type and personal details — including your baby's name, your sleep notes, and email addresses — are hidden and not recorded.
     

We do not connect to wearables or external devices. All sleep data is entered manually by you.

How we use your information
 

  • To provide core features: logging sleep and showing your data across your devices and family members.

  • To generate personalized insights, trends, and coaching suggestions based on the data you enter and age-based sleep norms.

  • To manage subscriptions and unlock paid features (including shared Pro access across a family/household).

  • To maintain, secure, and improve the app, and to diagnose and fix problems.

  • To communicate with you about your account or important changes.
     

How your information is shared
 

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. We do not use your data for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking. Your information is shared only in these limited ways:
 

  • With family members you invite: when you share a baby's account, the members of that household can view and add the shared baby's profile and sleep logs. You control who you invite and can remove members at any time.

  • With service providers acting on our behalf: we rely on a small number of vendors strictly to operate the App — Supabase (database, authentication, hosting), RevenueCat and the app stores (subscription processing), Amplitude (product-usage analytics), and, if enabled, Sentry (crash diagnostics). They may only process your data to provide these services to us, not for their own purposes.

  • For legal reasons: if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
     

If we ever change how we use or share your data, we will update this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service and notify you in the App before the change takes effect.

Data retention
 

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account (see How to delete your data), which permanently removes your profile, children, and sleep logs. Backups and diagnostic logs may persist for a limited period before being overwritten.

Your choices and rights

  • Access and edit: view and update your profile and baby details in the app.

  • Delete: delete your account and associated data from Settings.

  • Leave a family: remove your access to a shared household at any time.

  • Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as access, correction, deletion, or portability). Contact us to exercise them.
     

Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and row-level access controls, to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children's privacy

Napapp is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). Information about a baby is provided by the adult caregiver who owns the account.

International users

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. By using the app, you consent to such processing consistent with this policy.

Medical disclaimer

Napapp provides general, informational guidance based on logged data and published sleep ranges (such as AAP/NHS recommendations). It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for professional care. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider about your child's health and sleep. read more in the Disclaimer.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
